Let's Put the Pieces of Social Communication Together!

Kidworks is now accepting applications for social skills groups and social/play groups.

Social Skills Groups:

• Ages 8-12 years
• Adolescent groups
• 6-8 children in a group
• Trials are conducted to ensure appropriate "grouping"of children
• Some of the social skills addressed include:  greetings, eye contact, personal space, cooperating, appropriate behavior, feelings, conversation skills, friendship skills, bullying, self monitoring, self regulation
• The groups are one hour in length and meet weekly. Fees are paid monthly.

Social/Play Groups

• Ages 4 1/2 - 8
• Trials are conducted to ensure appropriate "pairings" or "groupings" of children
• 3 - 5 children in a group
• Focus on eye contact, greetings, turn taking, sharing appropriate interaction, appropriate play skills
• Skills are targeted through conversation, play, games, arts and crafts activities, music and movement activities, and snack activities
• Groups are one hour per week in length.  Fees are paid monthly.
