"My primary job is with the Michigan City Area Schools, special education department.  This job includes school based physical therapy treatments and ordering assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, and walking devices.  I am also on the Assistive Technology team where we evaluate and provide alternative communication.  I have used PEC's, low tech communication boards, and voice output devices.  In my 13 years of physical therapy experience, I have worked in a hospital, nursing home, home health and 2 different school systems.  I have worked with a wide variety of pediatric conditions - Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, Angelmans, Developmental Delay, and various motor control disorders."
